Its proud heritage began in its foundation by the largest and most reputable investment management company in Canada, Phillips, Hager & North Investment Management Ltd., in order to provide its institutional clients with mortgage investment opportunities and servicing capability.
Over the last 35 years the firm has become an independently wholly management owned entity and has flourished into The Penmor Group with three distinct business lines. Penmor Mortgage Capital Corporation originates commercial mortgages and trades in mortgage portfolios, our affiliate Canadian Mortgage Loan Services Limited (“CMLS”) provides mortgage servicing, proprietary “mark to market” capability and third party servicing to lenders and brokerages across the country, and lastly, Penmor Capital Partners (PCP) provides asset management services to both private and institutional investors.
With over $3 Billion of assets under administration, The Penmor Group provides a non bank alternative to borrowers in the commercial real estate investment arena.
